Osteoporosis – The Silent Disease

Did you know that hip fractures have a higher death rate than heart disease and cancer combined?

Mayo Medical Centre, in conjunction with the Irish Osteoporosis Society will be hosting a public information evening on Tuesday 18th October 2016 in the TF Royal Hotel, Castlebar.

There will be a range of speakers on the night, including:

The information evening will be chaired by Dr Richard Tobin.

The aim of the information evening is to inform the public about the risk factors, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of Osteoporosis. The information evening is open to people of all ages who would like to know more about osteoporosis. Special offers will be available on the night.
